The Official App.

A virtual museum

To celebrate Michael Schumacher’s 50th birthday, Keep Fighting Foundation was giving him, his family and his fans a very special present: the Official Michael Schumacher App.

Schumacher. The Official App is a digital Grand Prix of Memories that adds an exciting dimension to the popular Michael Schumacher Private Collection exhibition at Motorworld Cologne-Rhineland – a journey through time of great depth and with the help of state-of-the-art technologies.

Schumacher. The Official App is a virtual museum that honours the career of the most successful Formula 1 driver in history in an unprecedented way.

The Official Michael Schumacher App illuminates the time that made Michael Schumacher the most successful Formula 1 driver in history, unusually intense and rich in content. It offers racing cars in 3D and their engine sounds, it deepens Michael Schumacher’s statistics and records, shows an interview recorded in 2013 and a virtual tour both through the exhibition Michael Schumacher Private Collection in the Motorworld Cologne-Rheinland and over the historic kart track in Kerpen-Manheim, where Michael Schumacher trained his outstanding driving skills as a child.

Schumacher. The Official App also looks back at the years before Formula 1 and shows cars and karts from the early days, Formula König, Formula 3 or the DTM and sports car era – an impressive extension of Michael Schumacher’s paddock, which is very popular in the social media; a kind of paddock for your pocket.

The Official App also links directly to the Schumoji App, with proceeds going entirely to Keep Fighting Foundation: with Schumojis of Michael and Mick Schumacher, which fans can share via their social networks.

The Ferrari Museum in Maranello was dedicating a special exhibition to Michael Schumacher, which has opened on the occasion of his 50th birthday on 3 January 2019. It was both a celebration and a sign of gratitude to the most successful driver of the Cavallino Rampante of all time.

Schumacher has a special place in the history of Ferrari, which is marked by its many Formula 1 records. Between 1996 and 2006, the German won five driver titles in a row between 2000 and 2004 and made a significant contribution to the success of the Scuderia, which has produced six manufacturer titles in these years.

The rooms of the museum were decorated with images from the unforgettable years that the seven-time World Champion gave to all Ferraristi and that have created a legend that is greater than ever in the hearts of all fans today.

The exhibition also showed Michael’s decisive contribution to the development of exceptional GT cars during his years in Maranello, as a driver and later as a consultant.

The Michael 50 exhibition was created in collaboration with the Keep Fighting Foundation.

Emotional Snapshot

On the occasion of Michael Schumacher’s 50th birthday, a unique collection of fine art prints and posters celebrates his first title win with Ferrari in Suzuka 2000. As a partner of Scuderia Ferrari and the Keep Fighting Foundation, Automobilist has designed a series of unique fine art prints and posters.

The limited edition artworks and a series of premium posters were created in meticulous detail to create an emotional snapshot that fuses 3D models and digital photography with a unique technique. The computer-generated image achieves breathtaking quality. A team of artists, technicians and designers worked for several months on this process, which included a 3D scan of Michael Schumacher’s F1-2000 F1 car and helmet.

In addition to the artistic work, which is now part of the Unique & Limited collection of individually numbered fine art prints by Automobilist, available in three sizes, there is a series of five posters that follow on from scenes in Suzuka on that day. One of them, depicting a bird’s eye view of a pit stop, is also available as a numbered Unique & Limited edition.

The Keep Fighting Foundation will receive a donation from the sale of each artwork. See more:

Each of the gallery’s exclusive artists such as Giorgio Piola, Ercole Colombo, Rainer Schlegelmilch, Mark Sutton and Steven Tee – all renowned Formula 1 photographers and graphic artists – has selected their seven favorite works about Michael; seven for his record number of F1 World Championship titles.

The gallery offers a high-end and ready-to-hang pictures in a variety of finishes. Each picture is printed and custom made in Germany. Each comes with a 5-year guarantee and a certificate of authenticity hand-signed by the photographer.

All pictures are available at

The Starbox

As a special highlight, Keep Fighting Foundation presents the STARBOX in a limited edition of 91 copies, signed by Michael Schumacher in 2006. The 7 selected photographs, embossed with Michael Schumacher’s logo, stand for his 7 world championship titles. The 7 photos span a quarter of a century and document the various aspects of Formula 1. They are part of Michael Schumacher’s selection of his favourite pictures by the internationally renowned photographer Michel Comte.

When Michael Schumacher’s first career came to an end in 2006, they had both considered introducing such a compilation; Michael Schumacher personally signed the supplements at the time. The project was then postponed.

Part of the proceeds will go to the Keep Fighting Foundation. See more here:

Champions for Charity

Champions for Charity is a charity and fun football match between NBA star Dirk Nowitzki’s All Stars and a team of other athletes. The sporting event brings together some of the world’s leading athletes and celebrities, along with their fans, for a charitable purpose. Champions for Charity was created in honor of Michael Schumacher, who was himself a great football fan and player.

In 2016, the Champions for Charity match took place between the Dirk Nowitzki All Stars and the Nazionale Piloti, the team of motorsport stars for whom Michael played a lot during his active time. It was an exciting fight between drivers like Sebastian Vettel, Nico Rosberg, Daniel Ricciardo, Felipe Massa, Mika Häkkinen, Nico Hülkenberg, Pascal Wehrlein, Timo Glock, David Coulthard and Mick Schumacher. The All Stars included basketball star Dirk Nowitzki, Lukas Podolski, Sebastian Kehl, Miroslav Klose, Stefan Reinartz, Arne Friedrich and Simon Rolfes.

The line-up of athletes was no less large at the Champions for Charity game 2017, in which Dirk Nowitzki and Mick Schumacher again competed against each other with their respective teams. In the run-up to Christmas 2018, signed memorabilia from both games were auctioned off in an online auction; and as with the football game, the entire proceeds were divided between the Dirk Nowitzki Foundation and Keep Fighting.

Champions for Charity will return with a football match on 21st of July 2019 in Leverkusen. Further information can also be found at

Keep Fighting Award

The Keep Fighting Award celebrates the achievements and contribution of an eminent individual whose life story serves to inspire others to always keep fighting and never give up. It shines a light on an individual whose triumph over adversity is extraordinary.

The Keep Fighting Award winner shall offer the world an insight into the depth of courage and strength that is empowered when the human spirit is challenged by impossible adversity.

Formula 1 World Champion Nico Rosberg presented the following laudatio of Vanessa Low as the inaugural winner of the Keep Fighting Award 2017:

Vanessa Low embodies the values that the Keep Fighting Initiative would like to promote in a striking way. Keep fighting. Be open and positive for new influences. Remove resistors. Never give up.

At the age of fifteen, she was at the railway station in Ratzeburg. She was struck by a train and lost both legs. Whether she was pushed or fallen, she never wanted to clear this up because she found it unimportant.

The doctors told Vanessa she would never be able to walk again. Six years later, she was part of the German team for the London 2012 Paralympic Games.

However, London was a disappointment, and Vanessa seriously considered retiring from sport. But then she decided to make a radical change. She went to the USA for training and found fun in her sport again.

This was a second deep setback that Vanessa transformed, with courage and energy into a personal success. The 2016 Paralympics in Rio then became a personal triumph: Vanessa won a Gold medal and set a world record in the long jump, she won a silver medal and ran a personal best time in the 100m sprint.

Vanessa Low is inspiring by her straightforward, combative attitude and her sunny radiance.she is a role model for exploring new opportunities in the face of setbacks and allowing others to participate in that experience. Vanessa is thoughtful and at the same time open and international. She does not look back hesitantly, but curiously forwards. She is a lovely fighter, tough against herself and sensitive to others.

Vanessa Low stands for success and excellence beyond all resistance. She is the perfect ambassador for the message that giving up is not an option.
